Hell Bear American Whiskey is a blend of straight rye whiskey, 4 year and a 5 year bourbon. Fruit and subtle botanicals upfront, prominent rye spice mid-palate and a smooth vanilla caramel finish. The finished product provides hints of berries up front, big cinnamon spice, nice sweet cereal grains on the finish, and lasting vanilla intertwined with baking spices.

Past a Field of Wildflowers
…. A Colorado prospector ventured into darkness. In the mine, he heard a loud snap– then he was falling! In a daze, in pitch black, he awoke, face-to-face with a unique creature– part bear, part badger. Resolved that today wouldn’t be his last, he rose and followed the glow of the creature’s eyes. The Hell Bear guided the explorer to the surface, then vanished back into the mine.
Inspired by the spirit of Hell Bear, we crafted a blend of straight rye whiskey and straight bourbon that’s sharp enough to bite through your favorite cocktail but smooth enough to be enjoyed neat.

1.5 oz Hell Bear American Whiskey 0.5 oz coffee liqueur 0.25 oz simple syrup 0.25 oz frangelico Stir and strain into nic and nora with cinnamon rim.

2 oz. Hell Bear American Whiskey 0.25 Foro Amaro 0.25 Cappalletti 2 Dash Lemon Bitters. Mix all ingredients, stir and strain into a nic and nora glass – garnish with a grapefruit peel.
